The engine builder Wiedenmann GmbH has recently opened a new export market in North Asia. The producer of turf equipment wants to increase his exports into the Republic of South Corea. Therefore Wiedenmann has already put up two trading posts on the peninsula.
Professional turf care equipment like the Terra Spike machine has already been furnished to South Corea by Wiedenmann. In many cases the machines are used to regenerate the turf of golf courses which are often situated in mountainous regions of the land: “There are about 500 golf courses in South Corea”, Sales Manager Karl Wiedenmann explains and precises, “Our machines aerate, scarify and loosen the subsoil, which is important especially for turfs in mountainous regions.” (Stadiaworld, 10.08.2011)
