Riedel was founded in 1987 and today employs over 350 people located within 11 locations in Europe, Australia, Asia and the Americas. The company operates in three areas of business:

Manufacturer of real-time networks: Riedel develops, manufacturers and distributes the most advanced real-time networks for video, audio and communication for clients world wide. The system – all of the them ISO-9001-certified – are used the broadcast, event, theatre and industrial appilcations.

Rental Service: The rental services department offers radio and intercom systems, event IT solutions as well as fiber-based and wireless audio & video transmission systems for large-scale events such as Olympic Games or FIFA World Cups. In addition to dry-hire, Riedel also provides a comprehensive service including consulting and realisation on-site.

Radio distribution: Riedel is one of the largest authorized Motorola distribution partners in Europe (since 1991) and is one of the largest rental supplier for radio equipment world-wide.
