Recycled accreditations for sustainability congress

From 28th to 29th June, The Neuland Congress took place in Aachen. During this event, there were countless impulses, ideas and discussions for the guests about the areas of innovation, diversity, equal pay and above all sustainability. The company Pe2M from Ratingen, Germany supplied the compostable ID cards for the accreditation of those present.

The compostable ID cards consist of a biomass based on renewable raw materials. “They are completely free of PVC or other petroleum based materials“, Pe2M explains. The biggest difference to the conventionally produced accreditation cards, which are made of PVC, is the subsequent possibility of completely composting the passes. The more valuable appearance was also noticed during the congress.

The program of the Innovation Congress was characterized by a number of highly qualified speakers, including Jens Spahn, member of the Bundestag, Marco Buschmann, Federal Minister of Justice, and Marie-Agnes Strack Zimmermann, member of the FDP (digital). Top-class guests from the world of sports were also present. In addition to the honorary president of FC Bayern Munich, Uli Hoeneß, the 2014 soccer world champion Thomas Müller was also present at the lectern.

Just as important as the political and sporting speakers was the corporate communication represented at the event and the associated corporate sustainability – which was a major topic at the event. The Wuppertal entrepreneur and CEO of the Riedel Group Thomas Riedel, as a long-standing partner of Pe2M GmbH, was one of the main speakers at the event. (STADIAWORLD, 27.07.2022)
