In the quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil Germany and France meet each other this Friday. The venue is the Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, which was extensively remodeled for the World Tournament. Involved was also the EHEIM Möbel GmbH.
Built in 1950 for the first FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro underwent its biggest reconstruction ever to become the flagship stadium of the World Cup 2014 and the host of the final.
