Daktronics’ product portfolio includes video displays, billboards, scoreboards and traffic information systems with LED technology and control systems that transform visions into realities.
In response to the growing demand for high resolution LED video displays, Daktronics introduced the HD-X model in 2007. At this time, the HD-X product line is comprised of two outdoor models, HD-12 and HD-16, and one indoor model, HD-4. Current installations include the NBC-TV channel, the Arizona Cardinals stadium and Heinz Field, home of the Super Bowl 2009 champions, Pittsburgh Steelers.
Daktronics has strong leadership positions in, and is the world’s largest supplier of, large screen video displays, electronic scoreboards, computer-programmable displays, digital billboards and control systems. The company excels in the control of large display systems, including those that require integration of multiple complex displays showing real-time information, graphics, animation and video. Daktronics designs, manufactures, markets and services display systems in sport, business and transportation applications for customers around the world. We earned our reputation with 40 years of experience in the sports, -entertainment and advertising industries. The superior quality of our products and the competence of our staff speak for themselves.
Since their introduction in 1997, Daktronics LED video displays are the big screen solution for sporting events of any caliber and size. With more than 2,000 installed scoring systems worldwide, among them at the Berlin Olympic stadium, Daktronics developed scoring systems, control solutions and established customer service that are second to none.
Every LED (Light Emitting Diode) loses brightness over time to varying degrees of intensity. In older models this can result in the picture appearing to be grainy. As the only supplier, Daktronics introduced a recalibration service for older installations that restores the original LED quality.
Daktronics LED video displays are format compatible. This means they can be simultaneously controlled in standard and HD format. The combination with the V-Link® video processor allows both standards to be presented next to one another.
Daktronics Super Systems facilitate the combination of LED-video displays, scoreboards, fascia-displays and others into an integrated entertainment and communications system. The advantage of single source product supply and installation guarantees that subsystems within the display and scoreboard have been designed to work with one another.
