Kanstet is the official Track supplier for the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2017 in Belgrade. The Competition will be held between the 3rd and 5th March in the Kombank Arena.With a total seating capacity of 20,000, the multifunctional Kombank Arena was transformed into top-class Track & Field Arena with a 6-lane 200 m IAAF Standard Track with 8 sprint lanes in the center & facility for Pole Vault & High Jump, Long & Triple Jump and Shot Put.
Highly durable PU Sandwich type surface VSS-1 by Kanstet will ensure high performances of the Track & Field disciplines.
For spectators the convenience Track has been lifted to the temporary build platform on the height of 3 m above the building floor. For temporary platform building Kanstet engaged the highly experienced and qualified Serbian company Stage-Pro from Cacak.Within less than one month the temporary floor and Portable Running Track has been built and assembled. Prior to the European Athletics Indoor Championships in March, the Balkan Championships will start at the Kombank Arena on the 25th of February.
It is already the fourth Title Championship that is equipped by portable running tracks made by Kanstet:
- IAAF World Indoor Championships, 2006 Moscow, Russia
- European Indoor Championships, 2013 Göteborg, Sweden
- IAAF World Indoor Championships 2016 Portland, USA
- European Indoor Championships 2016, Belgrade.
